Dinter Engineering Company
Dinter Engineering Company is a Nevada Local Small Business based in Reno, Nevada, which has provided electrical design for six decades, particularly for military, federal government, municipal, institutional, and state clients. Dinter's staff currently numbers 12 and is comprised of professional engineers licensed in 11 states as well as project managers, designers, CADD and Revit® BIM technicians, and administrative personnel with many years of experience.

Dinter Engineering has been in business since 1961, and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver projects on time and on budget. As a small firm, we are able to provide personal involvement from key company principals who take an active role in ensuring that all work produced by the firm meets both your expectations as well as our own rigorous standards of quality.

Our high-speed Internet capabilities allow nearly instantaneous transfer of data and plot files, affording speedy and cost-effective coordination between offices separated by distance. We also utilize a constantly updated, rigorous virus protection system and fire walls. Our staff utilize cell phones when out of the office and use them regularly to check email and respond to clients.

Unique Services:
Dinter Engineering can perform various Power System Studies on medium and low voltage systems and listed below. These studies are performed using EasyPower in accordance with IEEE Std 1584 and NFPA 70e. The goal of each study is to have a safe, efficient and reliable power system for your facility under both normal and abnormal conditions. Dinter also operates an Airfield Electrical Department dedicated to the design of airfield power, lighting, signage and NAVAIDS systems for runways, taxiways, and aprons for over four decades, accomplishing over 700 airport projects.

Another unique service that Dinter Engineering provides as a consultant is our Project Management Services, whereas Dinter will be Designer of Record and coordinate with other subconsultants both architectural and engineering to provide a complete design team. We have been successful in this endeavor on many federal and military projects.
Sustainability:
Our electrical projects include the latest in high-efficiency lighting sources with automatic controls to limit use to occupied times only. As a standard practice, we specify outdoor light fixtures which are “Nighttime Friendly” with high-efficiency lamps. This means that the light fixtures we select are consistent with U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® and Green GlobesTM product criteria for energy efficiency and light pollution reduction. Dinter has received many awards from utility companies for our energy-efficient designs.
